Healing Masses are held on the
First Sunday of every month from May through October. The Masses
start at 6:30 pm. In July there is an additional Healing Mass on the
first Saturday which begins at 4:00pm.

2008 After 12 Noon Mass - approximately 1:15 pm
We would like to announce that the Barnabite Fathers cordially invite you
to the PHASE I Ground-breaking for the Basilica Renovation Project here at
the Shrine.
Groundbreaking ceremonies will take place on Sunday, May 18, 2008
following the 12 Noon Mass - at approximately 1:15 P.M.
All are welcome and refreshments will be provided.
You may also consider bringing a friend as well to show them what is about
to take place here.
In addition to updating you on our plans we will also present several
renderings in conjunction with the project. We look forward to meeting
with you and sharing our vision for the future.
Please RSVP the main office at 754-7489 by Saturday, May 17 if
possible.
Also if you want more information on how you can help with this project
please let Fr. Julio or one of the other Fathers know. Thank you and we
look forward to updating you as we continue to move ahead.

The Fathers are very thankful
to Sheila and Roy Castelino and Dorothy and Francis Soares, Canadian Pilgrims, who
have organized a Gala event for this date in Canada to support the Shrine
Expansion and Renovation.
Program will start with Mass at 12 Noon sharp. This will be
followed by a sit-down lunch, a cash bar, dancing and fund raising
events.
The Ticket price is $30 for Adults and$20 for Children
ages 3 to 12. We have tables of 10. Children under 3 are allowed but
will have no seat. Cheques to be made out to Our Lady Of Fatima Shrine.
Please
remind your friends and contacts about the Gala. We are still looking for
gifts, cash donations and Ads for the Brochure. The Brochure size is 5
1/2 x 81/2 inches. Advertising charges are as follows:
For Black and White:
$400 full page, $200 half page and $100 quarter page.
For Coloured
:
$500 full
page, $250 half page and $125 quarter page.
Kindly check
your store rooms for your unused gifts. We can use them for our Chinese
Auction and Prizes. Cheques, Cash and gifts can be dropped off to the
contacts listed below. Any donations will be accepted. We will print a
list of Donors in the Brochure.
Please help
us help beautify this special place. Our Blessed Mother will bless you and
your loved ones abundantly. Looking forward to hearing from you and your

Group
Every Monday Night
at 7:30 pm. Fr. Peter Calabrese leads the study based on the
readings for the following Sunday. All are welcome regardless of
previous bible study experience. Please
join us and bring your Bible. Missalette provided.
Men's Fellowship
Calling all Men! We meet
every other Thursday Night
at 7:30 pm. We're studying the Catechism of the Catholic Church as we
gather for prayer study and fellowship. Call Fr. Peter Calabrese

Fish Fry
Every Friday!
Fatima Shrine Fish Fry is not
just for Lent! Our Fish Fry is available every Friday throughout the
year. Meals served from 12 noon until 7:00 pm. Cost is $6.95.
Dinner includes fried or baked fish, French fries or baked potato, coleslaw, roll and butter. Other dinner selections are available.
Our clam chowder is famous! Call for takeout ($7.25) at 754-7489.
